This was the latest installment in Chronicle Books’ “The Tales” series, so the challenge was designing within the existing series framework while still creating a unique and beautiful book that conveyed fae. This was done through the font selection along with the choice of illustrator Lou Benesch for the project, who created beautiful watercolor illustrations for each folktale that truly make the tales come alive off the page. Creamy pages and a satin ribbon marker make this giftable volume an elegant addition to any folklore lover's collection.
